Table Tents

Each table tent includes tabs to quickly find the desired skill and displays the steps of the skill clearly. Table tents provide a discrete reminder to the staff while allowing them to focus on the client during the conversation. Table tents include a “tips” section following each skill that provides answers to commonly asked questions and aid in skill mastery.

Effective job aids to assist newly trained staff in utilizing the skills from training. Each set of skill cards are laminated and display the steps of the skill clearly. Cards are supplied on an opening ring with a detachable lanyard.

Front of the card details the steps of each skill.

Reverse of the card provides useful tips and suggestions for using the skills with client.

Interactive Journals

Effective job aids to assist newly trained staff in utilizing the skills from training.

Standardized educational tools to promote behavioral change in the client. The interactive journals were developed to provide an individualized approach to assist clients in making positive and lasting changes. Our journals are designed to supplement the skills learned in other program settings by involving the client in his/her own change process. The journals can be modified to be used in a group setting, during one-on-one sessions with staff, or independently with the client. Throughout the interactive journaling process clients learn to recognize their motivation to change and risk factors (skill deficits) that present challenges and barriers to the change process.

  • Setting and achieving goals
  • Identifying values and establishing the motivation to change
  • Increasing awareness of risky thinking and behavior
  • Identifying criminal thinking errors and other cognitive distortions
  • Learning to restructure risky thoughts
